Immersive XR Media Training at Chu Hai College

Fatbars is back at Chu Hai College of Higher Education with their Immersive XR Media Training course. The goal is to promote a collaborative and diverse immersive environment. Every immersive experience should ensure inclusivity, eliminating the barriers caused by availability and affordability of software and devices. This will encourage more people to create and engage in different kinds of XR worlds, expressing themselves creatively, and working together with anyone anywhere virtually.

Inclusivity in any immersive XR experience is crucial. They wanted to bring this message into our training. This course engages each student to create their own immersive space, to showcase their media work, including those they generated using Stable Diffusion.

Stable Diffusion is a deep learning, text-to-image model released in 2022. Primarily used to generate detailed images from text descriptions. They believe the class needs to know the potential of AI as a tool for content creation.
